i realised that i wouldn't have time to get my boat finished and ready for the water before summer was over,so i bought this to get a fix.it's old-1974-but solid and in pretty good shape(considering it's age)and the price was right.it's a 19' grady-white with a 115 merc(a true museum piece)that runs like a charm.going to steal a few minutes to put it in the water tomorrow.hope it works as good as i think it will.

a view from the back....now that's an old motor.we literally have these in the museums on the island.the boat has a nice wide beam-good for stability in the pacific ocean swells.should ride pretty good.

ya,i just couldn't go through the summer without a boat in the water.getting rides with other's is fun,but not the same.tomorrow will be the true test.

the fun thing is the wheel, you got your helm and wheel, thats all you need for fun!

How high the meters go for speed?

supposed to top out about 35 knots.it came turn-key ready with a good battery and a full tank of fuel.the trailer's rough, but has a new axle, wheels, and hubs.can't complain too much for $2500.

true, it come with the title?

BTW, seehow well it does for fishin :D

I don`t know that kicker mount looks lonely A 9.9 merc same year with a tandem link would be sweet with a couple of downriggers. How did the engine run I am guessing closer to 40mph on smooth water.

agreed....i would love to find a similar vintage kicker.it did come with a '74 vintage hand crank downrigger,as well as an old(90's)fish finder/depth sounder.the 115 runs great, though it can be a bit balky on cold starts.i was hoping to try it out today, but weather conditions were not favourable.too much wind,so the waves in the inlet were too big for a test run.

good call.....tops about 40,cruises 35 at a little over 1/2 throttle.rides good on the bumps,too.i'm happy again:yahoo:

i couldnt imagine going a month without the boat i love it. nice boat you got there

Yeah, get that body wet! Looks like a good little find there.

that's what i did today-conditions were good,so i tossed her in for a quick shakedown.took the wife, she had a big grin till we got out to open ocean and the swells got too big.turned around, had some fun in the inlet, then called it a succesful first(for me)run.
