well,i found a kicker for it.....needs a little paint and polish,but it runs.it's a '78 20 horse,nice match to the 115.traded it for an 80's mariner 15hp-we both came out happy.

that's a '77 merc 4.5hp....motor runs,but the leg is seized...might have a line on another one.always fun hunting parts for these old things.
i was happy the day i bought it....i'm happy every time i use it.i'm even happy working on it.i don't tend to sell much,so i don't know if i'll be happy then.last one i sold didn't make me too happy,though it did pay for this one.
i'll have it mounted on the boat tomorrow,after the paint has had a chance to dry...i'll take a pic then.problem is,it will really show how much the big motor needs some lovin.

i bet!speaking of scary,the 'other' boat that i won't have time to finish this summer is a 15' fiberglass runabout with a 351w for power,through an omc leg.will be running edelbrock goodies on it,and 10/1 pistons,should be good for at least 300 horse.
So when am I meeting you in Skagway with some burgers and a jerry can of fuel
