thought about bringing the camera, but it was raining and i just bought the camera.didn't want to ruin it already.i'll make sure to bring it more, though.shoulda bought a waterproof one.

I have a 1968 75 7.5 hp that has the point system I converted from the electronic trigger type that works pretty good. Kinna a mix and match in that year they had both I believe. My main is a 61 evinrude lark III 40hp long shaft I added the generator to it on a 1973 14" fiberform just no time or money to take it out maybe get out and see if I can sleigh some co-ho. There coming in now up the puyallup.

ya,we got lots of coho here now too.freezer's full of them, just need a few more halibut.the 20h is working good, though it has an occasional miss on one cylinder.changed the plug, wire, and coil,so that just leaves the igniter.found one,but it turns out the wires are corroded off right at the body of it.have to keep searching.hope you get to use your boat soon.the fish are running strong this season.

looks like a good site.been looking at east coast marine for some stuff too.got some pretty good prices.

do you have the serial number I just like looking up stuff and I do have som merc parts but from my exp it is usually a coil or connector easy enough to troubleshoot with a good vom

I`m sure you know but it is important to grease the splines on the propshaft yearly for access to the gearcase for service.

I just hung and ancient merc on a 22' flat bottom tunnel jet I built. The dude wants to use it for moose/boo hunts in the interior on the Maclaren river. Bad, bad idea when you get to the rock garden. Sucks when you see troopers loading body bags for recovery. Glad I was to busy negotiating rocks to see whom other hunters lovingly laid to rest on the bank ,covered, cared for and fended off the bears. I am Mohawk so as the water calmed I pulled to shore and ask the great elders to help their spirits to cross the great river to home. My painfully pale Norwegian and to this day friend knelt beside me and offered strength also.

$2500 seems a bit steep. At least out here it is. I just got a '80 Silverline Nantuket with a 470 Mercruiser i/o for $100 at auction. Most $2500 boats up here are '90's or so.

Although if it is in good shape, like it looks it is, good job! I have a '60's fibreglass 14' boat with a '56 Johnson Super Seahorse at 65HP on the transom in my yard. Now that I got the new(er) boat the old one has to go. Might give it to my dad for him to tinker with.

I am looking forward to picking her up and taking her out for a couple of shakedown runs.

here on the island theres a more limited supply of boats that are worth having.i hear about these great deals elswhere, but hey, that's part of where i live.it's worth it when you look at the big picture.:icon_thumby:

that's a dangerous activity in a dangerous area....too many people forget that when they head out into the bush, and pay the ultimate price.
