got the decals already for the big motor,just need to wait till i'm not using it to do the job.and as for skagway,i don't know that i'd want to run the hotrod that far,but if you want to visit here,there's always a seat for you!maybe a spare fishing rod,too.

sea dog,long trail and otter creek.....pretty sure that's some of the guys living in the bush out by east beachbut seriously,just a matter of not being afraid to try stuff.things will get a little messed up at the beginning,but that's the best way to learn.if you want to try something but are not sure of the process,you know how to pm me.always happy to help

guaranteed it'll be a memorable trip.on the ferry trip over,just find someone from the islands and tell them you're looking for the crazy guy in masset with the custom trucks-they'll point you right to my place.it's a 7 hour trip over,so you'll have some time to meet people.

i like this angle-it shows quite well how the motors are matched to each other.if the weather cooperates tomorrow,i'll try it out.it was pretty windy today,whitecaps in the inlet.

crazy 'sploder got put into the holding pattern with everything else this summer.part of my plan for tomorrow is to do a serious accounting of my projects and see if i can get a plan together so something can get done...that,or i'll go fishing.

so,i went out into dixon entrance(the body of water between haida gwaii and alaska-i was damn near half way to alaska)to get a halibut and try out the kicker.kicker worked fine,but the bracket didn't.as soon as i got going on rough water the kicker was flopping around on that bracket so bad i thought i was going to lose it.when the seas came up and i had to turn for home i had to take it slow just to keep the thing secure.
so now i need to make a new solid bracket.and i got skunked on my halibut.and lost two rigs.
still better than working.

I was kinna wondering how well the kicker bracket would hold up to a 20hp. With your fab skills I have no doubt you will be able to build a bracket to handle the weight and torque created when you get on it. I know a new one can get pretty spendy.
