Theres a little misinformation in this thread but it has been years since info was a click away.
Don't think I'm some fanboy, back when I wheeled I ran a d&d based on cost, for my setup I had double low for $350 (kit) plus $50 to have the fill in plates welded and parts I had laying around. Sure can't do that today, the d&d kit alone is $500 now. Even with 3.55s I could out crawl a single case rig with 5.13s.
The stubbler isn't a hack off the side of a t case bolt up a plate and you got double low kinda thing. Actually it's easier. A LOT of R&D went into this, it was done with hand drawn prints, and a manual mill. Old school
like the inventor. Though I hear times have changed and there is bling bling cad, cnc and serious manufacturing support for this potential go round.
This is what you get when you buy a stubler

After installation you only need to fab a shifter for the rear case shorten & lengthen drivelines. "Might" need to swap to an aerostar speedo cable.
I Don't have any knowledge of the behemoth as far as length goes, edit: (it's 7" long) back then the stubbler was the shortest one available at 5.75" d&d 6.5"ish.
