86 was the last year for vent windows. 87 and up was 1 piece door glass
At risk of being burned as a heretic, this old thread suggests the vent windows might have been available as options on some models of the late Gen 1s, and quite common on the B2s:

The reason I am being stubborn about this is, I am quite certain that there were wing windows on a 1988 supercab ranger carcass I grabbed the computer from last Sunday.
I know how easy is to swap doors on old rangers, but these were power jobbies and appeared original. There was, however no door tag, so I had to rely on the windshield/dash VIN number, the 10th digit of which I am certain was a "J". I am emotionially (an slightly financially) invested in this truck being an 88 because I am swapping a 2.9 out of an 88 (manual) into my 87 (auto) and want the lack of EGR on the 88 motor not to be an issue.
I can't swear to whether my 87 has 1-piece glass or not, for three reasons:
1) my observational skills are sometimes lacking/questionable
2) The 87 is not here
3) The 87 is currently sporting the 88 doors from the truck that donated the engine. The 87 originally had horribly rusted out doors that I replaced with a junkyard pair (year ??), then grabbed the doors from the 88 as part of a general body panel upgrade - front fenders, front thingy between the grill and bumper, box and finally doors (original truck was red, 88 invader species was a fairly nice two-tone blue with grey accents)
I am willing to be wrong about windows (though I distinctly noted the truck on Sunday had wing windows). I kinda hope I am not wrong about the truck being an 88, b/c of the computer I robbed...
