p0171: was a bad fuel injector also causing a dead misfire

p0400-p0404: DPFE sensor almost everytime lol

p1000: sets after codes are erased or battery is disconnected

p1051: you have to push the brake pedal down during KOER test, if not this code will set or the brake circuit has a problem

p1404: usually only on california vehicles, i've had a couple that the temp sensor was completely covered in carbon or the EGR passages were plugged

p0551: power steering switch had fluid leaking into the connector, replace switch.

thats all i feel like remembering right now lol, i just went down the list to see if i've dealt with any

Hey Jim (Assuming you have e-mail notification on this thread).

I have found the "GOD" Book (Sorry if this is over the top), it's an 85 Mb. PDF on Ford injection and computers,

Some 442 pages !!!!!!!

Because of it's size I would have to put it up on my web server so you could download it.

It's got "everything, about everything"...................

Let me know.

^^^Would this be appropriate info for the backyard mechanic trying to learn obdII ?
If so, would you be willing to let me copy it?
Thanks,

Richard

The PCM monitors voltage drop to determine coolant temperature. If the ECT reads less than freezing temp. when engine has been running for more than a few minutes, the PCM determines a circuit fault and sets this code. Or if the PCM determines the sensor resistance is out of specs, this code is set.

So my truck is throwing up P0153, P0174, P0133 and last but not least P1152. Any suggestions as to where I can start?
