So being that this is a RBV sight, I'm assuming we all share the same hoby of 4wheelin, drag racing, or caring for our Ranger like a member of the family.

So besides being a caretaker of a RVB, what else do ya'll do?

My first passion is music. I've been playin for a good 6 years now, and for the last 2 I've been getting paid gigs, so I guess that means I'm a semi-professional. lol

Here's where the show off part begins. Here's my collection of guitars. These are all the ones I currently own. This excludes the ones I've sold and traded. Here we go.

Here's the inlay work on my Mandolin. (BTW, the bridge snapped today as I was on my way to the studio. DAMN IT!)

And there's a few other misc. instruments not worthy of the internet.

I hope some of you are full of envy. Is that wrong of me?

BTW, I paid for these all myself through teaching and oil changes.

I could've done without being exposed to John Denver that many times in a row.

[totters off for a cup of coffee]

damn nice collection!i have one of the squires,w/gibson 498 swapped in at bridge.498 came out of les paul when i swapped in gibsons "dirty fingers".i like the gibson double neck, shades of jimmy page and alex lifeson.rock on!

Very nice collection :icon_thumby:

As I said in the Christmas thread, I'm hoping to get a Takamine EG523SC sometime soon.

I don't have pictures of my stuff, but currently I'm running a ESP MH400 (EMG 81/85 active pickups, floyd rose licensed trem, I like it for playing some faster stuff, Pantera and such). I'm thinking of putting a second battery in there and going 18 volt with the pickups, supposed to sound a lot better (I may put a switch in so I can run either 9 or 18 volts), we'll see though, I'm still undecided if I want to start cutting wires on my baby.

That's about what she looks like.

I also have an Epiphone SG Special (my first guitar). That mostly sits in the closet, haven't really played it since I got my ESP. I also have a cheap Epiphone acoustic (it's really my sisters but she never played it, so I took it to my place). It's alright, but I play an Epiphone Masterbilt at the bar every once in a while, and I love it. I'd like to get a mid-range acoustic sometime (that's why I'm thinking of the Takamine).

For now though, I just work on getting my fingers more flexible so I can play chords easier. They don't like to bend that much :icon_twisted:

It's not......we can see you're very proud of your collection of grandpa guitars......

Think about this, you wouldn't take a Mustang off roading. Thats not what it was designed for. You'd use a 4x4 that was designed to take that kind of abuse. Even in the shop, you've gotta use the right tools for the job.

What I'm getting at, is that no self respecting blues musician would play a BC Rich.

And Will, sorry about the John Denver in the background. This pics started out for a photo class assignment and I need a backdrop other then a wall. I had to but out the records. He wasn't an attractive man.

And Skippy & Milje, if you guys are going to be at the TRS 10 Event, we gotta get a little jam session goin on.

Nice collection!! I'm a fan of Led Zeppelin...Does it make sense I'm also a fan of the gibson double neck , and Les Paul? Jimmy Page rocks!!!

just giving you a ribbin......the electric gibsons are very nice.

I guarantee you're a much better player than I am.

Nice collection of guitars. I would have to guess that collection is not on the cheap side?

As for me I’m a kick ass skier:icon_hornsup::icon_twisted: Mostly steep deep powder, cliff drop stuff. Also dabble on the jumps.

Thats bad ass, Todd. I suck horribly at when ever I go up.

Right on, bro

Nice guitar collection! I found this one when we were cleaning out my grandmas old house. Its a little beat up but I'd like to restring it, get a small amp and basically just learn on it..its an old les paul knockoff.

Other than that I like motorcycles and snowmobiles, I like skiing too but I haven't done that since high school.

I was looking at BC Rich's, but from what I understand their quality on their low/mid range guitars just isn't there. About all they have is looks, and really I'm not that big of a fan. I like more traditional designs.

I love my ESP, but I kind of wish I would have got a nice acoustic instead. Oh well, hopefully this winter I'll be able to pick something up.

And Yngwie Malmsteen is WAY uglier than John Denver. Just goes to show that you can be ugly and play guitar (maybe there is hope for me :tease:)

TRS10 is going to depend on where it is and what's going on with me at the time. Probably gonna be just starting a new job around that time, so it might be hard to convince whoever my employer is to give me a week off. We'll see though.

i owned several esp guitars, similar to kirk hammets and they played fast and slick,24 frets.traded last one for a sweet epi les paul modded with tommi iomis in bridge/neck positions and a case.i like the old school look of guitars and i made the mistake of playing a martin d-45 at guitar center.sweetist damn guitar i've ever played, can't hit a sour note, but i don't have $7500.
once that guitar bug gits ya,it's hard to shake.les paul through a marshall, just don't get better than that!i'm game for a jam session if i can swing trs-10,maybe i can learn some licks.
