My review of the Richmond Lockright Locker

I guess I should update this while Im here. Its been about 7 months since I made this thread, and the locker is still outstanding. No question about it, locker or go home. It does pile up every once in a while and make a snapping sound (scares passengers ) but its normal, and has worked flawlessly both on and off road. Well worth the money.

Good info! Can you shed some light on the difference between the powertrax and the lockright? They seem very similiar.

"Powertrax" is the original Company name (before they got bought out by Richmond Gear) "Lockright" is the product name.

The technical description for this type of automatic locking differential is "Cam & Pawl"

an old school "Detroit locker" is technically a Ratchet mechanism.
