Actually building over it's not a bad idea. I just have to figure out how to cap it. As old as the building is I'm guessing it's metal pipe and not PVC.

But...

If you could tie into the water supply and future wet bar sink drain... it sure would be nice to have a utility tub sink on the other side of that wall to wash you dirty hands... hook a hose to... fill a bucket... cool off hot parts... use it as a mop sink... whatever.

You can sometimes find used commercial kitchen stainless steel sinks for next to nothing. That’s what I used for my slop sink.

I second the outside or inside utility sink. I made an outside cold water sink for fish/crab cleaning and love it. I found a good condition resin sink with faucet at a used plumbing store for $25. The rest was leftover composite decking material and things on hand. I use it all the time.

Kind of late now but try to leave about a foot of slack on each wire outside the boxes. I believe thats code and it makes it a lot easier to swap things around if you have to in the future. Nothing worse than having a wire thats 1/2" too short when doing renos.

That is minimum amount inside the box. AlwaysFlOoRD's suggestion was to have some slack outside the box for future use. Not a bad idea, really.
