Starting her up just for you guys. I have on it my custom chambered muffler, although it didn't seem to change the exhaust tone as much as I thought it would......ha ha oh well!

It is NOT going right there.....it will be going up at an angle behind my foot peg. That was just temporarily.

I know the quality isnt all that great, but I will get a better video once the bike and exhaust is all done

"slightly modded"?! The whole top end is changed, lighter wisco pistons, 883 heads for higher compression.. and I forgot to mention before the larger front sprocket so its geared higher. Much faster than stock.
AMA use to have racing for the Harley Davidson Sportster 883r's at the same races with the xr750s.

Hardley twins can't compete. Never could. That is why they now sell a lifestyle and/or image instead of bikes. I know bikes, I have owner 5 harley's, and they are subpar at best in the performance category which is what motorcycles were all about until AMF sold Harley back.

Always. My friend't triumph 675 daytona is one of the sexiest sounding bikes I've ever heard. sounds like an old warbird at speed... and chasing him through traffic in my truck is not easy(I was following him cause I didn't know where we were going)

Definitely... the only bike motor that even come close to sounding as good is the one in our race car... but that doesn't count lol(yamaha WR450 bored/stroked to 565, supercharged, 70hp... )

Yeah, triples are definitely unique in their exhaust tone. My next bike will have a Daytona 675 triple motor, I have that decided already. I was trying to make it even better with a chambered muffler much like the Aero turbine, and while it sounds sick, I was expecting something more. The reason I went this route is because I really dont like the 'Bvvvvvvvvvvvvv' sound of most fiberglass packed motorcycle mufflers....idk

I'll have another video up in a week or so.

You might try packing a muffler with stainless steel wool... worked well for us and deepened the note over the glass packing.

That sounds fun... and dangerous... if we had more time till the competition for that car we'd do some head work and drop in the hotter cams... probably get around 100 hp and 90 lb-ft...
