My NEW Cafe Racer....fighter....whatever

I'm doing the red white and gold becuase it'l make it look super retro, but then the LED's, HID's, rearsets, and monoshock will look modern....kind of a mix and match

I have some 34mm mikuni's from an xs1100 that will be going on it

The exhaust will probably stay as it is....but I am thinking about making a muffler come up right behind my right foot peg

Got everything mounted and mocked up. Motor is coming out now! Then I can finish all the welds and make the frame nice and pretty

You can see the LED R6 taillight. It fits nicely under the seat. Im going to make a pan under the seat

Seat unit looks good - very "classic TZ750 racer". Red and white paint job; very retro, could mention memories/shades of Barry Sheene but I'm not sure any of you would remember him...On mine I found a couple of extra bhp by retiming the cams, not reprofiling but altering by one tooth on either the inlet or exhaust - advance the inlet? I do remember that to make it work I had to play with the ignition, carbs, and exhaust but as you're already doing that...It was a long time ago now so I can't recall exactly what I did but I'm sure that somebody on here can explain the theory of why it worked...
I take it you liked the Bee Em then, work has stopped while I try and get my Ranger through its annual MOT (roadworthiness test)...

I'm not old enough to remember him, but I do know who he is.

There is extra power attainable by timing the cams for a certain RPM..but I need to actually get it running first

We'll see what happens in about a month or so.

But, the motor is out and i'll be sandblasting the frame and such this week and getting it all painted. Stay tuned....

3 separate pipes and tiny mufflers under the frame would look badass on this bike... That's what i thought it was for a minute, but now I see it isn't

Small update.

He got in a fight, and lost an eye. Haha! Left eye, I think I'll call this bike

LED's with projector. Dont worry...I have a 6000k HID bulb coming....it wont be yellow for long

I also polished and painted one of my side engine covers

Added some bondo to the frame and swingarm to make it nice and pretty.

I decided against the gold wheels and went with black. The tank and seat will be white though, but haven't decided on stripes, decals etc

Oh wow I didn't even notice that this was a triple! sick! I have a friend with a triumph triple and that thing is sweet. and it just plain sounds cool. Can't wait to see this thing finished.
