Hmm where to begin on this weekend? Well for starters had a flat on the Honda when I got to work on friday.. Had it fixed.. or so I thought... Screwed with it that night with plug.. No go.. Took it in again only to find it had 3 holes and couldn't be fixed.. Bought new tire. Ok so now for the Ranger... Girlfriend and I got up early to go to pull a part... Found all cars I was looking for... Now for the run down... Camaro = flip tag for hidden hitch... Ranger / Explorer = Cab corners from a 92 Ranger and a rear view mirror.. Full size chevrolet or s10 = winch for spare tire. Also got eccentrics so I can play with the camber for free.. I have to say it is awesome having a girl that will do "guy stuff".. Plus if I need a tool I didn't bring she can flirt and get it! Well finished up at the JY came home and spent 30 min calling to find front tires... About 30 miles to pep boys and a 30 min wait they were done,. Got back to shop only to find out buddy mounted both tires for left side... Made another trip to closer pep boys to get one switched... It's been a hell of a day...
). Then it'll be the tedious process of cleaning and spray bombing the chassis (as much as I can with the body still on at least). Can't wait to see the front end back on the ground with the Dream Beams installed and engine ready to go in. For me nothing helps motivation quite like visible progress.
I would get 89 and up Dream Beams and steering components.. the beams for Gen 2 are cheaper from what I can remember.. I only paid 300 new for mine..
