my first swap

I am about to start my first 302 swap on 88 ranger 2.9 long bed. i am wondering if there is any mustang or explorer or something that i could use to get the majority of my parts from in stead, of buying each thing separate any information will be helpful.

easiest will be fox stang


best will be explorer with fox oil pan.

that is if you want a 302.


me.....in this day and age....6.0-6.2 gm system or 5.3 setup from a gm setup.


if i wanted all ford, a ecoboost 2.0 with a ranger manual trans all the way...

it will whoop a reg 302 like a retarded monkey, and do much better on fuel.



there are so many choices i feel bad for guys these days....you need 10 trucks to build.
