My First Solo Build.....

Mine isn't glued, it's just press fit. The engineer is supposedly printing the other one now.

I've had an idea bouncing around my head the last few years about a power rear window like the fullsized broncos had in the 90's. just stumbled uppon this on FB market place. power rear window from an 01' explorer sport trac. anyone know if the width and height is the same? would love to add this go the crew cab.

I like the idea, but I think the shape is wrong. If it is you'd have to do some sheet metal work to make it fit.

It's simple really. Just find a Bigfoot Cruiser Ranger extended cab and steal it's electric rear window or do a cab swap. lol

Just one of the projects I had at work this week. I am an automotive upholsterer as my 7-5 M-F. These are the kick panels for a 54' F100 in the shop for a complete interior. customer made some odd color choices...
finished up everything in the interior of this 54' f-100 this week. customer will be picking it up today I think. We'll be doing the bench seat this week, I believe. Also made some small progress on the vans rockers. Spent most of last weekend cleaning up the mess the flux core made.

That looks really good!
I'll have to pick your brains on good suppliers when I'm closer to doing that type work.

some small progress on that 54' f100 seat.

That should be nice and comfy. I need to do similar to Brittney's S10 seat. It's bad. Driver sits on the springs in a couple places.

some more progress on that bench seat for the 54' f100... soo excited to get the cover made and on, going to look tits [even though the customers choices of materials aren't the greatest. either in color or type of materials.]

drew out the cuts I have to make on the 86' extended cab frame that is getting lengthened. also, not the prettiest welds, but i have seen welds 100000000 times worse, that were "acceptable" besides, its just to keep the frame square.

cant go too much further until i get the engine hoist freed from the 4.6 DOHC 32valve sitting on its legs. anyone interested in it? freshly sealed. new alternator, oil pump, water pump, timing chain and related parts, plugs and coils. everything new. going a different route.

some more progress on that GMC savannah. did the rust treatment [ mix warm distilled water with some wine tannin, then mix in a ratio of 1 part water/wine tannin to 2 parts phosphoric acid. stunned me with the amount of strength/rigidity it brought back to the metal ] then I did the frame repair after sorting out my new plasma cutter on my new welder. Arccaptain 205MP for the win!
