My Bronco 2

Shock travel i'll have to work on. doing the f250 shock mounts which will help.

radius arms are gonna be extended to the transmission crossmember, w/ a johnny joint...
i'll probably just buy a 2 pieces of DOM from ruffstuff for that, ones that have a 1.25 ID so i can just thread it and put the JJ in there.

so anyone found a superrunner steering yet??

So your coils and tires compensating for something????? Just messing with ya. Maybe its the picture or yet those are a softer coil and compress alot more.

they are super soft. i can actually push these down and make them move lol. the RC lift coils i could stand on and jump and they didn't compress.

well changed my driven gear on the vss.. speedo will be off till i get my 4.10's in. then it'll be off again when i get my 33's. i can't win! lol. oh well. bout to go drive it and see if it helped my OD issue any. i don't think it will, but dad thinks it will. so who knows

well....
that didn't fix it. but it did make my speedo slower, so i need the gear for when i do the 4.10 8.8 swap.

i think i need a drive gear for the t/case to.

but good new: i have a buyer for my subs. i shipped out the d30 shafts today.. i got some other money coming in, plus the money i have saved. i should have the money for the d35 ttb.

i'm still running the factory shock mount and have no issue with my shocks not allowing enough up travel. with the shock just bout fully compressed the 37's are just startin to rub on my fenders and there is 11'' of travel (IIRC)

but the towers are only like $13 a piece. and i need new shocks anyways. would rather upgrade than just replace. ya know?

dont have to explain yourself to me. i do alot of stuff to my truck on the bassis that i can do this not i have to do this.

wasn't trying to justify it lol. just saying.
i already ordered the shock towers anyways. and i'm gonna get new shocks all way around. i HATE those rough country ones...

'Splain yoself fool ! :thefinger:

Jk lol.

Like my dad used to tell me, "its usually easier to ask for forgiveness than permission". And for most situations at least for me, he has been right.

for "most" situations that is true. but not all......

Skyjacker brackets.. It's in one of my posts in the last 6 pages lol

You may or may not have to do this. I am only person I know that has had a problem. On the bottom of the coil, you are going to use a floor plate, then XJ pad, then coil, then D35 curved washer, then nut. My coils didn't have a small enough diameter to stay on with the D35 washer. I went wheeling once and it popped off twice and ended up resting on the ball joint. Not good. So I went and bought a set of one size smaller floor plates and put them in upside down under the washer.

It may be hard to see in this pic. If you need a better explanation, let me know.

i kinda understand what you mean. i'll play with it when i go to do the swap and if i need i'll ask more questions.

alright. so an update on my CEL issue and not staying in OD. i've worked on this thing all morning didn't find anything wrong. finally decided to swap parts off the explorer again. mainly the computer-- after swapping the computer it works PERFECT. so i need a computer. well idk if i'm happy that i figured this out or not b/c that is the 2nd bad computer in 3 years. idk if its my truck messing them up or if its just b/c they are the stock computers off other vehicles. the first one was from my donor ex and the one that went bad recently is off our 92 explorer; so it is 18ish years old same as the donor ex's computer. idk.. its fixed now

except i messed up my switch wire to my solenoid somewhere so now my truck wont crank..

I CAN'T WIN!!!
