My Bronco 2

When I did my swap, the Explorer ran great. Drove it to work a few times too. Then did the swap and afterward it ran rich and wouldn't start when warm. Turned out to be the computer. I don't know why it quit working like that. I was lucky to find a manual one from the same year at the junkyard.

yeah, i just told my dad i was gonna go get like 5 from the JY lol. always keep one on backup! lol

I tell myself that, then forget once I'm there. I'll kick myself one day when I need it lol.

yeah.

so i figured out (i think) why my truck won't crank. the red/light blue wire on the solenoid does not get power. it goes to the netural safety switch... maybe the switch went out? idk, i've got a redneck wire ran from the solenoid to the inside of the cab- i can just touch the wire to a fuse and crank it! lol. i gotta be able to have my truck driveable since the explorer is still tore down to paint.. and we can't focus on it till the motor home we have is sold. we are having to do some work on it before the guy comes to pick it up on thursday.

Push button start!

Push button crank but still use the key to have it all run.

and living this close to memphis, i'm not having a true push button start :thefinger: don't need any of yall showing up to steal my b2 :thefinger:

i'm having NO luck finding a superrunner kit used.

guess i need to go sign up for explorer forum, ranger whatever, and for truck stuff... ??? idk. go look in their classified.

I never seen anything useful on Explorerforums, but I have only been over there a few times.

Well I can hope for the best! Lol

I am digging the BII. I was reading a few pages back that you were indecisive on going to a D30 SAS or a D35 TTB.. I didnt have enough time to continue reading. What did you decide? I say cut and turn D35!

I wasnt thinking of doing that

Now Im not sure how much lift cut and turn beams would give, havent read much into them, but I think its a way around the drop brackets though but dont take my word for it.

I have 5.5" of lift out of my current "cut and turn" setup. I could go more, I don't need the extra ride height. I have plenty of up-travel and ground clearance as it sits.
