How did you get the ball joint clearance cut out like that?

Also, what's that "window" for?

Did you make any other cuts for clearance?

Used a reamer for the balljoint . The window is for the right side axle shaft to go through .

ill drop by for a little saturday or sunday if your at the house...might even be down for a little trip i Ilake sunday if i can talk the woman into it

ill try, since our florida vaca this summer got cancelled because she is pregnant she wanted to atleast get out of town for the weekend....so she chose evansville

A few trails like 5 and 19 have good drainage and dry out after just a few days . Trail 16 is good on muddy days if you take the haul road to get there . Think yours will be ready by Sunday ?

The torque sequence I used for the ball joints is .
Lower balljoint 80
Upper balljoint 100 while holding 44 camber caster bushing with pipe wrench
Lower balljoint 100
Tighten camp on 35 beam

I have to work, and no I doubt it. It wont start when warm, so if I kill it on the trail, I'll have to let it sit for 45 minutes before starting again.

Connected the inner 35 shafts to the outer 44 shafts and installed in the truck .
