My 44 Knuckle Swap 35/44 Hybrid

i know the feeling, my rear line busted...no brakes all the way around

Used the tech library to replace the front brake lines . This time I turned them out towards the tire .

Should have gotten the one piece ones like I got.

the broken shaft sucks...so far so good with everything else though, it did good

At the bottom of the tech library writeup:

These hoses are 26" long:

Raybestos: BH 38622, BH 38623

There are 2 numbers because there is a right and left side

I forgot about that . Yeah first time out with the 44 stuff and it looks like it lost a cap off a joint . But that is my fault . I did all that work and didn't put in new joints , I just tack welded the caps on some used joints to the shafts . New 5-760x joints and full clips will be going in before next weekend .

Found some Spicer 5-760x u-joints locally at a truck repair shop called CTC for $24.50 . Couldn't find them that cheap on the internet . The tech page said to use 1 3/16" clips but I couldn't find any , so I used 1 1/8" clips from Rural King .
Also went ahead and weld the caps , but just in one spot . I fixed the one I broke but I'll have to get more shafts before I can do the rest .

760 joints , full clips, and welded :headbang:
