dam i was just talkin to another member today about puttin my built 7m out of my supra in my ranger lol. good work man glad to see that you took the dive and tried it
Hey guy's what's up,didn't update my project in a while we where bussy wiring the 2jz ecu to the ranger fuse box etc etc... also had to install and wire up the shifter.Well this project is about 95% done,it starts fine shifter works fine but we didn't test drive it yet.I had to buy a water temp and oil pressure gauge cause the 2jz sensors are not compatable with the stock ford gauges.Things to do,make the exhaust, intake piping, make hoses for the power steering. Here is a small vid.
Guy's it's up and running, all i can say is WHAT THE FU@#@#$$ the engine realy realy pulls hard. From a dead stop and flooring it it spins 1rst, 2nd all the way to red line and chirps 3rd some.Top speed is just scarry.Videos will be up soon.
P.s. TheTopher i also had conserns about the cooling system but it's holding fine. The radiator has 2 core now and a 2500CFM fan.
Guy's everything is done well altleast for now hehe, here are some pic's of the finish product.
As you can see the interior still need some TLC and the body also need a new paint job suspension also needs some new rubber bushings but it'll be done when the time is right. Will put some videos as soon as i can get hold of a camcorder.
Don't worry next week it'll be on the dyno to see what she's putting out, remember she's on stock boost. Some other mod's are 3'' exhaust, UD pulley's , bigger intercooler & piping, 255lph intank fuel pump with bigger fuel lines & adjustable fuel pressure regulator. They might have bump the power up a little so the dyno will let us know how much.
