My 1990 supercab ranger 4x4 build

To think 5 years ago this truck was mint but years of sitting in on the wood line and next to a road that gets heavily salted…?things don’t go how you hope! Doesn’t help for some reason my old man needed to get into it at one point and left the passenger door open sometime in fall through most of winter when I’d dropped in to put more parts in the bed I noticed the snow ON THE DASH. So I opened the doors blew it out and closed it up/locked it this time and took my keys. Id hoped I avoided serious damage but definitely not… floor needs work, firewall needs cut out and replaced.

Here is some of the worst of the firewall rot. I’ve got my work cut out for me… literally! But I pulled the parts trucks dash out and started removing the firewall and floor. This truck I’ve been told “ I’m cutting up “ or “ruining” a nice truck but believe me! It isn’t that nice and anytime the cut off wheel comes out it just gets better

Upside? Buddy Justin come across an old set of 9” big beam pro comps and shipped them out to me. I’m not sure if they will find their way onto the ranger but neat nonetheless!

Stripped the parts truck for everything I’ll need to keep going. Took the firewall, floors, tunnel, cab corner, rockers, doors, front clip, and much more… like I said nobody would have put in this effort into this truck honestly had I not decided to fix it? Definitely would have been parted or scrapped out
