question i have a 66 where is the turn signal box or what i need to replace when turn signal went out i know it some where

Could you imagine one of those Shelby GT 500 engines in that car, that would be a sleeper car. I know somebody with one of those cars, told they are fast.

theres one in my garage...
and i've got to ride in a gt500 convertible that is now in the ford museum. my boss owned it. sold for 100,000 american, and he now regrets it due to it being 1 of 2 in canada and an extremely valueble car. seen others in worse condition sell for over 500000 so its rough. but it was redonkulous fast ]

very nice, im glad to see another beain saved. i want one so bad i can taste it. my buddy has a 66 coupe with a 200I6 and a 4 speed. hes building a monster 200 for it pushin 30psi of boost

Yep, I got the frame rail completely welded on, my lower control arm mount made. I also made a spring compressor that bolts into where the shock bolts into and the wheel back on. I put the door and the fender back on and it all lines back up to where it was originally. Back window was also removed today so I can start on the rear quarter panel replacement! Also patched all the holes in the interior sheet metal.

I got a couple hours in on the car tonight, and I was surprised as what I found. Somebody had put a quarter skin on the car at one point in time or another, and they didn't cut the old one out behind it. In fact they even had bondo between the two, and the quarter skin didn't even have primer or paint of any sorts between the 2 pieces of metal. I got the first layer all stripped off before it got late enough that I didn't think the neighbors wanted to hear my cutting wheel. I will have to see if I can get my gf to get out there with the camera.

Here's what I've been working on. BTW the fender is not bolted on, just sitting there so that's why it looks funny.

Wish it wasn't so cold outside so I could get out there and work on it. I am having a hard time getting the quarter panel and the door to line up together to look right

ya aftermarket panels can be a pain sometimes, did you patch the wheelhouse and trunk extension already?

I patched the trunk extension and cut the old wheel house off, cleaned all the rust up and got it painted, but I just have the new wheel house clamped on until i can get it and the quarter panel all lined up together. The bad thing about it is after I figure out where the wheel house goes for sure I will have to take the quarter panel back off to weld the wheel house on for good.
