if it aint broke break it
thought i'd put together the stuff that needs done on my truck (yes y'all were right it needs timing tensioners) the number is sitting at $2,697.47 in my summit cart send help and prayers :bawling:

That should buy you a pretty fare pile of parts...

Better then a new truck payment I suppose.
 
I feel ya... in the last year +/- I spent $620 with Barnes, about a grand at the local steel place, $1300 with AccuTune, $220 with RuffStuff, $250 or so with RockAuto, and probably $3-400 at local places for misc stuff... all that was just for the new crawler. I'm still not done, expecting another $6-700 here soon for some front axle parts, kilmat and radio stuff. That was all build parts, so stuff I bought by choice as opposed to repair costs if that makes ya feel better...
 
That and time is why I haven't fixed my F350, to do things the most obvious way to change injectors you might as well get stage one remanufactured ones but to run that you need a high pressure oil pump and while there a tuner to work with that... if I remember right last time I looked that was over $3k, and that's ignoring the rest of the stuff wrong with the thing :)
