I realize i'm a good 20 pages and likely a whole other thread behind but i gotta ask, where did the "level III" idea come from?

Well at work the parts delivery truck is an '06 FX4 Level II. One day they just finished installing a remote start on a new FX4 and parked it out back behind parts department beside my truck and the parts truck. Me and a buddy went out back to grab something from his car and he said "Hey look, there's off-road Rangers of all types here. Level I, Level II and Level III." I really like it and am going to get some custom bedside decals made up, once I get the damn engine holding fluids.

Well crew, the Ranger is back down at the shop waiting to go under the knife. So far the mysterious front of the engine leak has gotten worse, but I pulled my dipstick today and no milkshake was seen. Looks like if it is the timing cover gasket it hasn't made it into the oil pan, yet. If it is the timing cover gasket apparently the engine has to come out to remove the oil pan. If that's the case I'm going to dip into my savings a bit and get the damn thing resealed. Get the timing cover gasket done, the front & rear crank seals and probably intake gaskets as well. Maybe even the plugs. An Explorer 5.0L sounds more tempting as time goes by.

Not to sound like bike or anything but just do it!

^^^exactly what I was thinking. Hmmmmmm...
