I'll take some pictures of the mirrors but the stereo install won't quite be as completed as I was hoping. I took a closer look at my sub and realized it is a dual voice coil sub. Which is awesome, except for the fact I have absolutely no idea how to wire on up into the box and amp I have. I think I'm just going to run wires tomorrow an hold up just a little bit. Maybe wait until console time for the sub. I think I'll manage because these new Kenwood speakers kick ass. Heck maybe I'll finally give my interior a good cleaning tomorrow.

Well today was what can only be described as slow going. i spent more time renewing the interior from its hard life than I figured I would so all I really got done was the stereo install. The mirrors are going to be a little more involved so they are a task for another day after I save up some scratch. I got the plate on but I don't really like the way it sits so this week I'll fix it and take a picture then.

Just a few pics of the stereo and speakers I put in. Kenwood deck powering Kenwood eXcelon series speakers. I love those speakers, and employee price helped.

only real reason I like lots of pics is that unfortunatly it isn't feasible to see everyones trucks in person.....

as much as I would love to meet all of the TRS'ers, the odds are really stacked against it....

I really like them. The interior is coming together bit by bit. Something I've noticed unfortunately is when that deck gets hot the L/R speaker quits working. I may just wire both rear speakers on the the R/R circuit for now.

Ain't that the truth. I'll be sure to take lots of pictures for you guys. I even found myself flipping through the thread a while ago just looking at all the work I've done to this truck since I got it.

And now with digital cameras pictures are free so I can take as many as possible

Well, update time. The Kenwood officially shit the bed this morning, and now my Hedley CD is trapped inside.

We had a nice Clarion deck in stock so I put that in. It will take some getting used to, it is overloaded with features.

I'm not even that chapped about the stereo, I knew it was on its way out. What I am chapped about is when I went to go pop my hood to disconnect my ground cable on my battery the hood release handle came right off in my hand. They are still available from Ford, and deadly cheap my price. But the only issue is it the whole damn cable, that will suck to route. Guess I'm going to be using a set of vice-grips for the time being.
