Dang! I've heard good things about those tires.

Going front to back here are the things I need to get done before I get it safetied.

-DRL's
-Ball joints
-Try other IAC to see if it lowers the idle
-Windshield
-Repair drivers seat
-Basically overhaul the whole rear suspension.

Not to bad but it's been raining for a solid week and I'm not getting anything done.

So here is the current 411, I have the truck booked in at work to get the ball joints and alignment done. They are going to put my manual hubs on when they are doing the ball joints because it is not extra steps. The windshield will get done the day before. I'm going to put in the rear shocks and DRL kit while it is down at the shop myself and get it safetied soon after. Almost there crew! Once I get the ass end bolted back up I am going to clean and fix the interior and empty out the box. I'll slap on that new IAC and hopefully it solves the idle issue.

Alright so... my tires came in today. Something tells me those 32x11.50 are going to rub a little. Good thing I don't mind trimming:D

I got all the hangers off the frame yesterday, now I'm going to pound the rivets out tonight. There will be pics and some stories later on!

You mean these tires?
Mike's '93 4x4

A-BOO-YAH!

Clever eyes will notice Ford oil in the background haha.

them's some purty tires.

i like what they've done with the tread design.....kinda drifter meets bogger, and the sidewalls got some meat,too..they should work good, probably quiet too.

You guys miss the updates? Well they're back.. kind of, my camera was dying but it should be enough to show advancement.

This is what my new impact hammer did to the hangers, it's so wicked.
Mike's '93 4x4

In case you wondering, this is the new air hammer I got, a long stroke one this time. It kicks ass, I used it today to push the bolts out of my leaves and all the rivets out of the frame.
Mike's '93 4x4

The hanger on the truck, almost off.
Mike's '93 4x4

It just ate through those rivets.
Mike's '93 4x4

Bought another little goody today. It just so happened my new air gun was wrecking springs and today was the day the Snap-On guy came to the dealership. It's a quick release air hammer chuck. Definitely worth the money after all the springs I wrecked.
Mike's '93 4x4

My repaired leafs springs built for flex!
Mike's '93 4x4

Different style leaf spring clamp than I've ever seen before.
Mike's '93 4x4

First coat.
Mike's '93 4x4

She's coming together crew, going to buy the 7/16"x3/4" bolts tomorrow. Grade 8 of course!

Tires look awesome! I only get slight rub on my truck with 32's but thats because I have a leaf spring issue in the back passenger corner. I've got 2" coil spacers, 1" lift shackles, no body lift. You might be fine. Probably depends on the rims you mount the tires on though too

Tires look good, Mike! I'm kinda jealous a little. Good luck on the safety!

Yeah I can't wait to see those on the truck...like Tire Porn!

Thanks rk, I'm worried about the front a little. My rims don't have much back spacing but I'll just trim if it turns into an issue.

Hey man I think I was about due to have a TRS-worthy truck haha:D

That it will be. The techs coming to the counter notice them right away, one is actually pretty excited to see them on the truck too.

More pics in a bit.

This is how much I got done today, found out I have to work tomorrow so things are going to be a little close. I have to figure out why the battery went dead. Or just toss in my spare for the 2 days it will be down at the shop.

Lining things up.
Mike's '93 4x4

I thought they would be tighter in the hanger but w/e.
Mike's '93 4x4

Front hanger on, sure looks pretty. Ended up going with 1" bolts instead of 3/4". I put washers on both sides and it worked perfectly. All except the bottom two on the front hanger due the the crossmember ties in there.
Mike's '93 4x4

Back hanger on with the shackle hanging in place.
Mike's '93 4x4

No one warned me about the stupidest fitment issue ever.
Mike's '93 4x4

SOLUTION!
Mike's '93 4x4

I'm building a side exit exhaust later on anyways so this it NBD, just happened that cutting it on the bumper side of the hanger was perfect for now.
Mike's '93 4x4

Painted up the one I'm keeping on, it looks like shit but it'll do.
Mike's '93 4x4

And the other side on.
Mike's '93 4x4

As you see it got pretty dark as I was working, the springs go on tomorrow after work!

Major progress going on right now crew!

Man, I hate waiting for paint to dry!

Well here is what a good night of work will do for me.

Right side went together nicely.
Mike's '93 4x4

As did the left side surprisingly.
Mike's '93 4x4

I noticed the Belltechs tightened up in the hanger once I torqued them to spec.
Mike's '93 4x4

Once I got the tires back on I decided to clean out the bed, what a mess.
Mike's '93 4x4

Looks good, will look even better with the tires. That's just a power steering leak, source TBD.
Mike's '93 4x4

I also got a new badge.
Mike's '93 4x4

AWW YEAH!
Mike's '93 4x4

I also got another one for the tailgate, once it's fixed up I'm going to put Ranger on the left side and PI on the right. It should look pretty cool in a funny sort of way.
