My headgasket sprung a small leak about 10,000 miles ago. body full of rust. i don't think it will see 300k but really that depends if i want to fix the headgasket....

i bought this truck 10 years ago at 127k miles. i cant believe i kept it this long. still runs like a top!!

i seen quite a few that have made it this far, but sadly this seems to be about where a rebuild starts coming to mind. but 250k miles is a lot, i know of a lot of rigs that die at half that.

Sweet. What motor do you have?

Nice!

I have seen third gen Ranger's in the junkyard with over 320,000 miles on them. Take a good look at it, and decide if it is worth a few hundred bucks to fix the head gasket, or possibly several hundred if you need to throw another motor in it. If not, save those bucks and drive it until it drops and get a lower mileage newer Ranger :)

I had a 1990 Ranger with a 2.9 that went 300k before I sold it. I still saw it running around town for many years after. I had bought it with 51k on it. The only work I ever did besides lift and wheels and tires was a clutch and brakes.

My 02 sport trac is knocking on 235k. The 5.0 motor thats in it has 223k miles...

My 93 will turn 333K shortly. Have used it the last two and half years hauling whatever I can make fit into it and my 5X8 cargo trailer. Sometimes grossing over 8000 lbs! Yeah, I know a four banger can't do that...
Have replaced rear axle, head and clutch, all between 300 & 310K motor still running strong. Next week move a 21' speedboat and a 7.3L ford diesel motor. Good luck with yours!
