LS swap! finally

running better with fresh gas?
Much better. Took it around the block but it has a P2534 Ignition Switch Run/Start Position Circuit code. I cannot seem to clear it or figure out whats causing it for me. Truck is stuck in limp mode right now because of it.

Found a dana 50 ttb and 10.25 for cheap....

You planning on making a Jana 54? It'd be the only way to outdo your D35 for travel, it's kinda crazy how cheap you can pick up D50 TTB's and 10.25's up for though... for $500 I have 3 10.25's, two D50's and a TTB D44 just waiting on me to get time to make a Jana 54 and swap that mess into the '00 Explorer...

Well. Here it is.

My P2534 code was because my ECU AND TCM weren't turning on/off at the exact same time. I grounded a relay to the ECU on pin 59 black connector. Then used that to control TCM power.

damn....that must have pissed ya off good and proper.....

she is awn now though....

Sounds very rowdy, makes me want to get mine done

what cam?
IIRC BTR truck norris.

It's fast. It pulls like crazy, spins the 35s easy. I cannot wait for 4wd to see what it can really do. Handles like a pirate ship, I put a lot of caster into the beams because there's so much travel. I need to take some preload out of my springs I thought it would settle more but we will see.

Walk around

Pull

yup

get a shot of it leaving from a front offset so i can see what it is doing.

i remember when you chose to rework forward i had concerns of it drawing.

to launch my truck....back when it had beams, in 4x4 i had to use limiters...

with stiff springs it worked good and got me to a 14.20 but with softer springs it would hammer on the fast end. that as back in the 90s.

i was maxxed at 330. i suspect you are closer to 400 crank. way more lift.

i am not sure how well you know ttb, but it can be an absolute m-f-er to dial in....

but dialed....its GREAT.
