What did you do about your radius arms? Are theu still stock? Stock beams?

stock beams and radius arms. im not sure about bending these beams since im 4x4... but I have a design drawn up for extending the radius arms. I need to get it done because my alignment is pretty bad and it likes to wander when I drive.

I've always wondered what people meant by saying they had bent beams. Maybe you could help me out?

If you throw lift coils on the stock beams. You will have a crazy amount of positive camber. Sometimes its fixable by an alignment. Sometimes not. You cab cut and bent beams to reduce that. Only the pre 87 beams though

well I put 3'' drop brackets on there too. my issue is caster. my tires flop over instead of on a flat pivot. its really scary above 55mph

im not 100% sure on the process but I believe you cut your beams at an angle and weld it back up. this gets rid of the need for drop brackets to correct a camber issue with lift coils and gives you more travel. I have also seen people extend 2wd beams for more travel. I know I have seen cut and bent beams on this forum hopefully someone has a link????

only person to build those beams on here are the fab shops and RaceRanger, To build the build the beams you mount them at 90* but you need an angle finder to build the lift into it haha i have some built just waiting to plate it

but basically i did it by mounting the beams at 90* and measured from the bottom of the beam to the floor and lowered it a few inches for the lift i wrote down the degrees and i cut the beam straight then you weld on how many inches you want to extend out, after you cut a piece for the bottom of the beam and that should pop out a few more inches than the top so the rotor will mount at 90*

it's kinda hard to explain haha

83-88 are the forged beams you can cut and weld on
