You think your suspension idea with the radius arms and shocks/springs would work on my 97 Mazda b2300? I'm assuming that f-150 spring idea didn't work out? I like your idea for for the rear bumper/ tailgate might consider doing a revised version of it to my truck.
assuming you have the same I beam set up as me.... it should work! if you lift higher than like 2 inches then you need drop brackets for your beams. the f150 coils were a very . cheap and sketchy idea. I don't recommend it. they do not fit in the coil bucket right . I had to weld a little hook to hold the coils in place so I would feel somewhat safe.
I am new to the forum and prerunners, I have always wanted to build a prerunner and this discussion has given me the best idea on where to start. To tell you the truth I am primarily into building mudders and things like that and haven't had much luck with the front end of rangers. Normally I would upgrade the axle of the ranger to a 44 instead of the 35 and I was wondering if this upgrade would work for a prerunner or if I should just keep it stock? I also like the spare carrier/ loading ramp idea
I picked up a 98 2wd regular cab. I hope to do a mid travel kit on it. Sorry I went so long without posting! My laptop broke and so I had no way to upload photos so I didn't see a point. But I did more to my 93 before I traded it off but couldn't post pics
Post some more pics of the old truck. I just picked up a 95 extended cab 4x4. Looking for ideas. I like the spare tire carrier for sure. I'll prob have to do that. Mine came with a James Duff long arm kit 5-6 inch lift. Missing the correct springs lol. And stock rear. Just did rear lift shackles. Now gotta track down the correct springs
