low budget prerunner project

Hello everyone. I was digging through my old pics and found a few of my build. It's been four years since I started the build and it was definitely a fun learning experience. Selling the Ranger was probably the biggest mistake I ever made. I deeply miss it. It doesn't help to see the new owner trashing it. He had a transmission issue a while back and posted it for sale for dirt cheap. I was going to buy it back but then he fixed the issue then jacked the price up so I couldn't buy it.
I also sold the 98 Ranger. We had an offer to move to Alaska and I couldn't afford to get it here so now I'm without a ranger

I decided to participate in the banner across America. My truck was having a balance issue and I couldn't go any faster than 55mph. I had to take 50 miles of back roads to avoid the interstate haha the kid I met seemed to like my truck

Bumper time! This was a pain! My welder lead fell apart in my hand, measurements wouldn't sit right, I don't know how many times I tacked it up then broke it apart cause it was sitting uneven. And trying to get that many bends in one stick with that harbour freight bender was challenginghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20170131/4542dc1f98ab51b8db4fac313b02ed28.jpg[/IMG

Pulling besides. I saw the idea from a guy named metal monkey from dezert dimes. You cut the inner fender and give it a yank! I used a piece of square 2x2 pipe to hold it apart while I welded the little flat bar pieces in. I actually pulled too hard on the fuel door side and it made a small crease indent right at the fuel door.

So I had someone build my drop brackets because I was too afraid I would not make them strong enough and they would break. Well...

I was doing 65 and it broke when I went over rail road tracks. I thought I was dead
