Loss of Power issue 01 3.0L Edge

Hello all. This is my first post. You guys always have great advice and feedback, and I am now myself kinda stumped with something so here goes.

I have a 01 Ranger Edge 3.0 (U) Gas
110k miles on the clock
It will intermittently have loss of power when driving, especially so here and there when you come to a stop/ try to go from one.

The tach will occasionally flicker also when this occurs.

New ignition coil, plug wires, plugs, (admittedly did not check the gap in the plugs as nowadays they normally come pre gapped, feel free to bite by head off about that.)
Has new fuel injectors, fuel filter,
^All Motorcraft

Relatively new MAF and IAC though I can't recall if they are Motorcraft brand.

Considering throwing a TPS at it after Christmas..?

I would wiggle the wires around going to the ignition box while the engine is idling and see if pulling on any wires to it changes anything.

If you can get the codes read, there is a chance the computer picked something up also, as long as you do not take the battery loose. They still might be in the memory.

So matter of fact, you pretty sure that's it?

I'll test it out tomorrow and see if it needs to be replaced

actually for the year and mileage it's time to pull the cam sync unit and check it out.
at the very least put a few drops of oil in the top bushing. check it for side play.
the cap/sensor can be replaced separately.

I did just look at some live data and my short term fuel trim while idling, warm, is 0- sometimes increases a bit, but more often then not, goes slightly negetive,
is this indicitive of a vaccum leak? I have tried spraying brake clean/starting fluid around the intake, areas of suspect, and nothing, before.

any ideas or input with this new info?

No. Not sure at all. Just one more thing based on reported data.

Update - I sawed off the cat, and it looks new, as far as i can tell. Nothing fell outta it - No sulfer smell. Honey comb is in tact and not plugged.
