Hi everybody
Can I anyone help me?
Where can I place the jack to lift my 2000 2.5 engine for replace the oil pan gasket, its leaking a lot of oil because a mechanic put silicone instead of the gasket years ago
Thanks

Cut a square piece of plywood that just fits on the oil pan bottom. Use a floor jack to lift up on the engine with the plywood on top of the jack arm to spread the force. One you lift it, put wooden blocks in the area of the engine mounts and then let the jack back down and roll it out of the way.

Of course you can also use a engine hoist and lift it from the top. But I would still use the wooden blocks and let the engine sit on them to hold it up.
