Lets allow classifieds to be posted WITH OUT pics

After all NOT every one has a digital camera & not all cell cameras can be sized to fit TRS site. Any one can post a new tread or start a new Tread with out a pic ,so why does one need to have a pic to post a ad?

A person can post a ad on C/L & doesn't need a picture. Why cant this be done on this GREAT Informative Ranger site.

I posted in General discussion due to the fact that my cell phones pics are of a fixed size & cant be made smaller even tried it through Photo Bucket.

No way!!! Why not go to Ebay and not see a poto of what you would loke to buy? I am one of millions who WANT TO SEE WHAT I AM GOING TO BUY.
I can buy a 5-8 mp digital camera for next to nothing....buy one!!!! They are all over the place new or slightly used!!!

Not having pics in the WTB section makes sense.

In the for sale section, 'photo required' makes alot of sense. Seriously, you can buy a digital camera for less than $10

Personally, if somone can't be bothered with posting up a decent photo of something, I'm not going to chance wasting my time going out to look at that item. I have a limited amount of time get things done in my free time, and nothing is worse than driving several hours to purchase something only to find out its not anywhere close to what was being described (Tires are a good example, one persons 50% may not be another's).

I know that I'm not unique in this thought process, so why eliminate potential buyers right off the bat when its so simple to add a photo?

Granted, even a good Photo isn't a sure bet that everything will work out peachy, but it ups the odds quite a bit.

Don't even get me started on CL...

Upload to photobucket, then copy the img code. Problem solved and size won't make a difference.

x2! I use photobucket for everything you can also upload it to facebook and size don't matter either.

I agree with not requiring a photo in the WTB section.

What size do your pictures need to be? I had no trouble whatsoever in changing them, so just PM me the size you need and an email address and they'll be on the way.

Most people won't buy somthing without seeing it first, I'm one of them I'm sorry but thats how it is. I honestly think you'd be stupid if you would. How do you know the item even exist?

You'll get your money to spend on the Ranger a lot quicker with pics. Just a fact dude. Almost all of my pics are done with my cell phone. I can even resize on my phone, and it's not anything special (not a Droid or Iphone). Then I just send the pic in a text message (aka pic message) to my email address.

all pictures can be resized if you can put them on your computer... all you need is gimp.. or MS paint.

Besides what he listed above, there are numerous programs that can be downloaded for FREE to resize pictures. Not that hard, a 12 year old kid could do it, I know I did when I was 12.

Photographic skill not only here on TRS but on ebay, which is loaded with PROFESSIONAL sellers... proves one thing that if people selling sh!t on the internet were competent photographers they'd be making a living taking pictures rather than selling things on the internet.
