Left Upstream O2 Sensor Removal

FACTS.

I spent all afternoon Saturday getting my lawn tractor to run again.

( I HATE chasing electrical gremlins. )

Worked my 24 yesterday.

Technically today was supposed to be lawn mowing day...

It also doesn't help that I have been out of my ADD medicine since Friday. šŸ‘€šŸ¤ÆšŸ‘€
My lawn/garden tractor has messed up steering. I took a stab at fixing it back in the fall and my attempt didn’t work. I started making modifications and then winter hit and it was no longer a priority. Now for as much as the grass/weeds are growing and as wet as the ground has been, I’m thinking time is better invested getting something that can handle really tall stuff fixed. I have two 5’ brush hogs and both need work. Spent two days hand filing splines so the new stump jumper fits the 3-point hog so it’s finally almost ready for me to finish putting the underside together, set it down, and deal with whatever I have to topside to make it work. It’s been standing on end since fall…

I really should probably service the brakes and axle bearings/seals on the farm tractor but I don’t have a shop press. HF just had their 20-ton on sale but money is tight as usual so I still don’t have a press. Not that my shop is done enough to have a place to put a press…

What is this sensor that plugs into the side of the transmission?

It looks like it is held together by a c clip.

If I could get that wire out of the way I would have a little room.
I believe that is the Vehicle Speed Sensor.
