Ordered my shifter, went with the Art Carr/Winters shifter, should be sweet.

Got my oil filter relocator kit today, but it isn't the right one......damn

Then I realized I need to find some manifolds to put on my 5.0 if I want to have exhaust. Anybody have a set of cast manifolds layin around?

I set the motor down on the frame, but need to remove the headers and modify the heater box before I can bolt it in.


Ready to get moving on this thing.

I've heard they don't work on some applications, but I've got a set of 89500's if that'll help...

Motor mounts made, engine sitting in its place, soon to be for good

Sitting nice and low. I used the factory 4.0 mounts and made some adaptor plates.

Now to get a radiator that fits or make what I have work.

Kyle, does your motor sit level with the 4.0 mounts and flat plates?? For some reason my motor sits high on the passenger side...I never have fixed it yet....Guess I need to make some plates for mine (I used the explorer plates and ranger mounts)...

It did, It was about and inch higher. I re drilled the frame and lowered it so they both sat level then made my plates to match.
