Well, if things go good, I hope to start on the truck this weekend. plan is to pull the motor and trans, then do the axles, and frame repair. After that is motor and trans swap time.

Thanks. I would like to one day, just depends on money. But to be honest, the leafs work, and very well too. They just look ugly and hang out the back a long way, but I have plans for that also.

I also started on my wheels getting them drilled and tapped for the rings

Looks good so far....You planning on using those arms on the 60??
SVT

is the rings just to beef up the rims, or are you going to use them as bead locks ??

Robert

Just for strength and protection of the rim. I am planning on running inner air locks for bead locks.

The rock ring supports the lip of the rim preventing it from bending in and also helps deflect potentially hazardous trail debris and mung pung. Iirc he's running an airlock, its essentially an internal beadlock insert that utilizes air pressure to lock the bead against the rim. Sort of a 1/4 inner tube. You can run the lock at 100psi and run as little or as much tire pressure as you want.
