Interior shots, lets see them

IIRC he did that with the rear axle on stands and the wheels off, I remember him saying he sent it to his gf, fiance, wife, whoever and got in big trouble for it. :haha::icon_twisted:

didnt get in much trouble, once i told her the shot was staged. my truck wouldnt go that fast anyhow, with wind resistance it doesnt go much past 85. and handles terribly. i had the brake drums off also, i once did the same thing with a '79 amc concord just to see what the theretical top end would be minus wind resistance and horsepower loss. a brake drum spun off and "drove" across the yard, bounced off a block building 60 ft away.

Racsan I like the mat in the bed, for sleeping?

And ya no spare shafts on the doors anymore. After I did the 44 knuckle swap the shafts where to long to put on the door due to the longer 44 stub shaft. Now all the spares are behind the seat. They aren’t there also for the reason milje stated.

the mats can be used for camping out in the back, sometimes there used when i have something in the back i want a cushion between. (steel chairs tend to rattle a bit) ive got 3 sections of carpeted plywood with foam underlayment that make for a better night on one's back. under the middle section (between the wheel wells ) is 3 flat front-end weights from a case tractor. think they're about 100 pounds each. i like having the spare in the back, i looked under the truck this morning at all the frozen slush and cant imagine having to get a tire out from under there. it would be neat to make the back wall of the cab/front wall of the box fold down to give 8' of floor space (like a g.m. avalanche).

thats my in-cab tool box. i have a floor jack, small tool box with tools, 12V trouble light, jumper cables, tow strap, extra fluids like engine oil, trans fluid, brake fluid. i wanted a box that wouldnt take up bed space, i only have 1 child so it works as a "3-seater" the only bad thing is that the drivers seat wont recline. yes, it is secured to the floor.
