I need to visit the "flex store"

With an attitude like that, no wonder you got banned once before....
Who do you think I am?

Believe it or not, there are some folks around here that actually wheel their trucks, or actually have the ability to fabricate what needs to be done in order to build a real rig. Bolting some company's pre-fabbed "Ranger-specific" parts on is seldom going to yield any worthwhile results. :annoyed:
If you are talking about Maurice's (mjones) Bronco II, I do believe it is being built to be wheeled. There is more going on on his Bronco II that you have no clue about. I can guarantee it has been wheeled once already. Why don't you take your attitude and shove it.

Are you a twin?

It appears you share more than just Maurice's BII stories, like you IP address.

I wish he would just admit it.. instead of arguing about it.
I have to admit, I've called him out on that more than a few times. :icon_thumby:

--Edit--
Anyway back on topic. I would have to say your lack of flex would be all the erm.. metal.. stuff that I don't know the name of.
I'm alot of help aren't I. :D
But yea, its like the yellow tube thing.. no clue as to what that is. It just looks like it could prevent some flex.

Diggin the cowl hood btw.

Holy :threadjacked: batman!

As mentioned before by someone, you need another arm inbetween the front joint on your traction/ladder bar and your frame. Just a short thing, approx 4-6" preferable with a rod end or heim joint.

If your running two ladder bars, then sell one to Rangerslim, lol. Dont need two, not on anything less than 1000HP anyways.

the rear definately needs help, thats where rbv's are suposed to shine, ditch the ladder bars and add a leaves if you gotem

If flexier coils are wanted, EB coils would be good for a supercab.

Removing those sway bars is a good start though.

Heya all,
Thanks for the comments. I was wondering about the ladder bars. I'll look closer at the front also. I'm thinking there is an extra bolt in crossmember in front but not certain. It's for sure sprung too stiff in the back and would benefit from losing a leaf or two. Woulda got back sooner but pulled a 15 hour day yesterday.
I'll brighten up someones home with a ladder bar or two if i ditch them.

Thanks again

I know I already said this, but
- you only need 1 ladder bar
- the ladder bar-to-frame joint needs another link, with some sort of swivel
- if you have a correctly working ladder bar you can safely run some blocks on the rear. this will enable you to soften up your leafs but gain the lift back with blocks (i'm running explorer leafs with an add-a-leaf and 2" blocks, yielding 5-6" lift. I am satisfied with my flex, but my ass is heavier than yours)

I'm not trying to call you down, but make sure you know what a part/mod does before you put it on.... two ladder bars leaves me like this. :icon_confused:

Sorry for sounding n00bish.. but well, I am. What's a ladder bar do?

Prevents axle wrap.

To move your truck forward you tire pushes on the ground. Every force has and equal and opposite reaction. If there was not springs on your axle houseing it would spin opposite to the tire. But, the springs do their one of their jobs (the other is holding the truck up) and prevent the axle houseing from spinning opposite the tire. When they DO NOT do this job they begin to twist into an "S" shape. They cannot continue twisting into and "S" shape, so when yur tire finds slightly less traction they BAMN unload and it is a rather unpleasant thing. It's kinda violent for the spring/axle and not fun to ride in of hear. And it shock loads your axle shafts.

The is a couple solutions available to fix this. A ladder bar is one of them, probley the most 'bling' of the solutions. Also very effective. Google some pics and see if you can figure out how they work, I dont know if I can explain if over the interwebs.

Axel wrap is like a dirty hooker, you wish it never happened and you never want to see her again

Didn't take your post as calling me down at all Dishtowel. I appreciate the responses and respect the experience of everyone. I'm gathering info a little here and there. To be honest I'm not certain I will even keep the truck. I've not advertised it for sale hard core but it's on the thin edge of making sense to keep it right now with other things going on. I'll get some more pics posted on 'bucket sometime of the whole setup.

I did look and there's a pretty thick sway bar in the front btw. Was going to count my leafs last night and a neighbor dropped by to talk and derailed me.
