I'm looking for a list of RABS codes for my beloved '93 Ranger 2.3 5 speed 2wd. My old yellowed Haynes manual has EEC-4 codes, but not any ABS codes.
Can't stand seeing the ABS light on. I put in a rear sensor, just as a guess. Looks like the ABS code was 7 or maybe 77.
Can't find the code chart on stupid Google or Bing.
Thanks if anybody can help, truck only has 72k on it, but it's starting to need some attention.

Thanks very much for your help. It is definitely code 7. The pages stated "Isolate Valve No self Test." I saw another explanation that said "Isolate Valve shorted."

I got under there and cleaned the valve area and connector on the frame rail. Tapped on the valve, checked my body grounds, master cylinder reservoir, that connector has a good ground which can be the issue.
I guess it's time for a 1" strip of electrical tape on the dash light. Or, if you could tell me the 1993 manual I'll send for one. Odd, my Haynes 1993 thru 2000 manual does not have ABS code and diagnosis pages. It just ends on page 9-18. My manual # is 36071.

I've kept after the brakes on the truck, have bled them before. I hate to drop money on a new hydraulic valve and the hassle of brake line work.
