I hate myself right now.

So today i had the rest of the day free, and my moms truck had a horrible noise on the front suspension, after a quick look i noticed the sway bar link bushings are worn, 2 of them are missing.
So i dig on my crap and i found 2 brand new links that i got when i wanted to add a rear sway bar to my truck, the 99.

Since my uncle and I dont have enough tools, i decided to go to my cousins yard to replace them, and hang out with him for the rest of the day. Since his truck was recently hit in an accident i wanted to go and see how bad it was.

i was driving down the road, at around 40 mph or so and suddenly this thing decided to cross the road infront of me. It came from infront of a big bus that was parked, so i didnt see it coming


they use this things in india to carry passengers, but they cause more damage than good around here. i believe they call them tuk-tuk in india.



I did all i could, i even almost hit another car and a bunch of pedestrians avoiding to hit the "bike"thing. i still wonder how i managed to control a drifting truck on loose gravel without hitting someone else.

I thank God im ok, i didnt kill anyone, a big ass semi trailer wasnt coming in the opposite lane and didnt terminate me like a bug, and the tuk-tuk driver and passenger came out walking with small injuries.

What pisses me off and is making me feel like a complete POS is the fact that i damaged my moms truck. and i just installed those mirrors instead of the flag ones it had.
She says that i would split them in half or flip over if i would be driving my truck.


The tuk-tuk owner is paying up all the damages.
I really hope he stands up for this and wont start bitching out when the $$ is requested.

Not your fault brother, I know it sucks to damage something that isn't yours but it was because someone did something dumb, not lack of paying attention on your part.

Could be alot worse, could have been another Ranger crossing, in which case, who knows what could have happened, thats like dividing by
Zero.
