a while back i when i put the 302/t5 in my ranger i ran in to an issue w/ the quick disconnect fitting. i looked around and all i could find was a "universal" adapter fitting to -3AN. this did not work.

so i decided to make my own fitting to solve the problem. it connects to the stock clutch master cylinder and the you just get a braided stainless -3AN line and run to the slave cylinder. (i recommend the CNC brand http://secure.chassisshop.com/partdetail/305-B/)

if anyone is interested in purchasing this adapter let me know and i can make a package w/ the quick disconnect adapter and the 3/8 24 to -3AN fitting for the slave or any combination you may need.

price is going to be $30 for 2 fittings of your choice.

by the way, if anyone thinks this needs to be in a different section, i will move it.

You're not the first to do this here. But there is a demand for this fitting. Mdntranger50 used to make these fittings. Seems like Summit sells one too.

That's where I got the one that didn't work. Plus i figure it's pointless to get them cuz you get 2 in a package and only one is needed.

Some of us use Ford master cylinder, and a Ford slave cylinder, so two of them do get used.

sorry, i meant to say you dont need 2 of each if your using the "universal slave"

:D Unless you're like me, I nearly always buy two of something, just in case I lose one, or happen to need an extra. :icon_idea: Plus the vendor sells twice the volume of any given product..............................got to think of marketing here if you're going to go into business.:D

yeah. right now im more worried about seeing if this can actually work and getting things going vs making a bunch of money.

also i looked at stuff for pricing and im looking at $30 for 2 fittings of your choice.

and if i need be i can looking into making a metric to AN also if someone needs it.

Don't sell your tallent short. If I recall, I paid $25 for the one fitting from Mdntranger50, and it was worth every penny I paid for it.

thanks for all your help, but i wish i would get some actual requests so i can get the ball rolling. i wanna get a bunch made here soon but i dont want to make em and no one buy em, especially since theyre all made on a manual lathe. maybe one day ill be able to push a button and say "make me this":icon_thumby:
