i stole these screw down hood scoops frommy sisters truck. these are not the good ones that are the hood. these just screw down or use tape. i dont know if i should use them on my truck, i dont want holes down in my hood. her truck was a pos and it didnt matter but its a 94 silver ranger and i have black scoops. should i put them one or not? and how?

I'd go with the tape. That way you can remove all evidence later if you feel that they just look like poo on your hood.

Screw them down and you screw yourself out of a perfectly good hood too.

Do the tape in case you don't like it. You'll regret it if you don't like it.

use tape.

some jack-hole screwed the current hood scoop down on my escort..hence its still there.

alright but anyone what kind of tape that holds but can come off easily

nothing that will hold the scoop on at highway speed is going to easily peel off later.

3M double sided tape will peel off if you work at it for a while, but it wont be easy.

The 3M tape holds the body side mouldings on many cars on the road. Of course it isn't cheap to buy. I would save the money and sell them to someone with no class. Those Lund scoops look silly anyhow. Everyone knows they are just stick ons.

Running fake hood scoops is like meeting a girl with a stuffed bra. At first it's cool, but once you get underneath it all, you realize it sucks.
