I installed a cold air intake and a magniflow exhaust. I now notice a high idle. It's really bad when it first starts up. Runs at about 2000 rpm even once warmed up. Between 1st and 2nd the rpm will increase when I hold th clutch in... really annoying.

Ok... so this is what I've done so far. Replaced IAC. Checked for sticky throttle cable. Cleaned out throttle body. Checked for vacuum leaks in the intake... even sprayed carb clean around it while idling. Can't find anything.

Ideas:
Is there a way to make sure the IAC is connected electrically? If so, what voltages should I see.. and where.

MAF sensor? Mabey I f**ed teh sensor when I swapped it into the new intake. Any way to check it?

It could be the TPS taking a dump on you too. I doubt it's the MAF. Unless you physically touched the diodes inside the MAF, then it could be a problem. Usually it's the IAC, but you replaced that, so that would leave me to believe that the TPS is on its way out. You should check for codes, the CEL doesn't have to be on for a code to be stored.

Maybe the MAF got coated with oil from the intake?

Try running the stock air box, if it goes away you know its something to do with your intake. Also the MAF is very picky with these trucks, make sure you have the proper adapter for your intake and there is no leaks.
