Hi folks - I have a 1990 STX that I am seriously considering painting but I want those stx stickers.

NLA at FORD. Who can help me get a second source?

I also need a headliner - what are best choices there?

I've wondered that myself about the headliner. Welcome to TRS

for stickers, it might be better to find a local sticker maker and just show him the pics and get someone to get some measurements for you.

headliner, no idea but if the backing board is good, you can get any kind of cool cloth from a couple places

I got my headliner done professionally for $100 a few years ago. I didn’t trust my own skills on that. But many do their own. Find your fabric at a craft store and use 3M spray adhesive.

IF you DIY< make sure to get the 3M stuff Specifically for Headliners. ( Magic 77, or something, like that.)

And if you use the spray, make sure that the spray is an even vapor - sometimes it'll start coming out like silly string making it hard to get the headliner cloth to lay down flat.

Try these guys for the graphics

Graphic Express is a great place to get your decals from. https://graphic-express.com/collections/ford-ranger/products/1989-ford-ranger-stx-side-stripe-kit . I've bought decals from them many times over the years. The headliners are easy to replace. I just installed a new one in my 2002 Mustang. Peel off the old cloth. Then wire brush and scrape off the old foam. Spray the 3M heavy duty headliner glue onto the cardboard. Let the glue get tacky before you apply the new cloth/foam. Trim the cloth to fit after the glue has dried. You can buy the new headliner cloth on ebay, it has a thin layer of foam attached to it. https://www.ebay.com/itm/172723095671?var=471505939000&hash=item2837194877:g:mXAAAOSwT5xZOyQB&amdata=enc:AQAHAAAAoKKO6hIr3l/lSvz5cW2zf7dfcB4nUPgrV8meZoZk07W7JxVwyxyVv2kZvESG5R9OhBOM5ABgblyr0Sdv0I4kozZ2diZYraAGORgpETnybXXTGpo8puGkoOLtRaz/D6+UK3WRL+2MadTHl6d62L+VTaSetUZzEme2UeWN4YvXk4t9l4nJwAMdVAIbiQsyzoRU+dQsytxKFwjRZSlAU3ZHanA=|tkp:Bk9SR66zuKCgYQ

I've seen STX decals on ebay; but you'll have to look around, often you see only one side (there's a left and a right). Well, on the ones I looked at, I'm just saying, they're not symmetrical, so 2 rights won't work.

XLT decals even harder to find.

My truck's report says it had the trim stripes, but I have yet to decode what colors they were. Not sure if I want them back on or not.

A good graphics place, given a pic of a truck with them, should be able to make them.

not sure if yours is a a gen back and has different decals - but again that's only one side so not really a solution... just that some are out there, but for '90 who knows.
