I lifted my B2 4". All I need is a drop pitman arm and extended shocks. Just wondered if anybody ever tried to use full size shocks and pitman istead of paying a fortune or if they even bolt up the same. Thanks!!

the full size shocks will bolt up....but are still too short for 4" of lift....

the full size pitman arm is the same as well....still not enough....

there are plenty of pitman arms out there for less than $60 if you are on a budget...

and for awhile i used stock 99 Jeep TJ shocks on the front....just had to swap out the bushings was all....

Will a pitman arm from a full size have the same spline pattern and even bolt up? I was under the impression they didn't.

yup....if ya look at Skyjackers part#'s for full size 80-96, they are the same as the Rangers.....

An f150 uses the same gear box as the ranger. As it would bolt up, i dont believe the factory pitman arm will be much drop.

Yeah the F-150 factory arm is even less drop than a stock Ranger arm.

If you want the arm to match up exactly with your 4" lift, the Skyjacker # FA600 arm is your only option (other than going with a custom linkage setup of some sort).

Interesting info about the f150 pitman arms working on rangers....hmmm learn something everyday.

if you look at the FA600 drop pitman arm, you can tell it was designed for a full size truck... it is HUGE
