Pro Comps ES3000 to work with the SAS. Heard mixed reviews, but a pretty good bang for the buck.

I definatly want to see more pictures of your sub that you are putting in!!

Love the build so far MINUS the track bar mount. Instead of angling AWAY from the frame, I would angle it IN towards the frame. That way there's less force being applied to it. Of course you will have to make a custom adjustable track bar.

I can garuntee you that mount you made will be ripped off within the first month or so of driving it. Not WHEELING it, just driving it. I know this from experience. Happened to me.

Oh and Im sure you already know this, but I would finish the steering up before the track bar mount. The drag link and the track bar have to run at the same angle.

Yeah I def wanted to get that track bar inside...maybe Ill get some measurments and look for a shorter bar.
And yes, lol Im doing the steering this weak, I got the yota box and a pit arm...Just need to bolt it in and get the hoses fitted.

What are your plans for a rear axle? The front looks full width, correct?

Have a update..the 3.0 is OUT.... Ill have pics up tomorrow night. time to start motor shopping :-)
I already have a 8.8 31 spline posi with disc brakes...Im gunna leave it despite the full width D44. If it bothers me later, of the size difference, Ill get less backspacing on the front rims and smal wheel spacers fo the rear. But its not a big deal at the moment.

what's the width differences?
i wouldn't be worried about some good hub centric spacers.

okay..from inside of one tire to the other..measurements are rough, i was had no one to hold other end lolz, but 8.8 was about 53" and the D44 was about 59" ....so give or take about 3.5" differece on each side...I could worry any less at the moment haha

All done...
Now i need a motor and to do stupid little things...like weld the trac bar, i wanna move the lower shock mounts on the D44, still need to install the steering box and extend my fuel line from the tank to the door. It was stretched tight after the body lift.

ugg...okay heres the 'to-do' shopping list

4.0 Motor (and all the parts needed for the swap)
Rear break line
Front Brake lines for the D44
Lower shock bolts -need to move the lower mount as well
Steering Linkage
Steering box hose adapter fitting
Filler Hose Extended for the gas
Front drive shaft Ujoint
Battery
Vacuum resevoir tank
Black Step Bars
01-03 4wd style Bumper/Valance
...also still wanna remove the pin stripes and put the Fender Flare on my new fender.

Hopefully thats it ....Just put this post up so I have a reminder. I bet as soon as I walk out and look at it, I'll see 10 more things I still want/have to do. haha

your gonna love goin from the 3.0 to the 4.0 I know I did lol. it was a pretty nice little improvement especially for all my highway driving. no more lugging through hills or trouble passing.

Is it gunna be a manual or auto? And how's the sub coming along?
