Going ALL THE WAY

Cant wait to see what it looks like all done man. Good luck with the swap I want to sas mine one day soon. Ill be keeping my eye on this thread.

it's a good looking truck bro, if you don't mind me asking, where did you find the grille? been looking for one like that for my 06, but cannot seem to find one, just don't really care for the body color bar-type grille, ya know?

this particular grill is a 03 Ranger EDGE....but for a 06, your best bet is to look for the 04-05 EDGE grill, ...and for something like a grill, your best and cheapest bet is ebay!

and thanks racer1044, ill be doing alot of pics, since its my first time doing a SAS...

SHACKLE LIFT!!! Taking a break from the front end for few days... Nwo when the front is in, I'll have to block it and add leafs to give it a leveled look, cause I dont like the 'racked' look.

Aprox--30 minute install on each side

must be nice to work on the shackles without the body in the way. nice build

replacing the dented fender...but though this looked kinda cool for some wierd reason..

New fender wont have pin stripes...so i'll prob be taking em off the whole truck..

And the new .... looks like ima be taking the pin stripes off the rest of the truck

Those pinstripes had to go anyways. Really a nice truck. What did you do to the frame to get it so smooth? Sandblast?

Wire-wheel to smooth it down before laying primer...

K, so I'm back on PROJECT SAS -
Got the old suspension and axle out... and today I spend a bit cutting out the old parts...leaving the bar frame. No shock tower, control arm mounts or bump stop.

I going to sand down that paint...just layerd it so rust dont begin*

I finally got a D44 and actually decided against my initial leaf spring idea. So I'm doing coils and I have 7* radious arms. Just need the get the coil spring towers... once I get the other side finished...Its just assembly from here on out!

good luck man. I hope to be doing that one day too.

im keeping an eye on this. your truck looks sweet!

I think you have your pinion angle a bit high in the one picture of the axle under the truck. :) might be one or two degrees too high.
