Real quick, how do I remove the cap over the spindle nut to replace the rotors on my 2000 2wd ranger? I need to finish this an hour ago.

Try to take a flat screwdriver or chisel and with a hammer, coax the cap away from the rotor about 1/8". Then you should be able to take a pair of standard sized channel locks, open them up all the way, and grab the cap vertically on the area of the cap that you exposed by initially moving it with hammer and chisel and pull up and down on the handles until it comes off. If you dent the sealing surface of the cap then buy a new one or silicone it on the outside. They make special pliers for this, but most of the time they are worthless because the jaws are too thick to grab behind the raiseed area of the cap thats next to the rotor. Josh
