Doing the front brakes on my son's 88 Ranger 4X4. The special nut that holds the wheel bearing/rotor on, can't seem to find a torque or a tool number for the special socket to remove and reinstall nut. Rotors need turning or replacement. Original rotors. Were turned when brakes done last. Manual locking hubs. Chilton manual not very helpful. Thnx, Karl

Go to any parts store and ask for a 1/2 ton spindle nut socket.

They will usually have them out on the shelf.

Torque the inner nut tight while turning the rotor, then back it off until it's finger tight.

Torque the outer nut (closest to hub) to 175ft lbs.
